Our Emergency First Aid at Work course includes a minimum of six hours of instructor-led training combining both theoretical learning and practical hands-on exercises.

The course emphasises practical skills, ensuring participants feel confident responding to real-life situations.
Learners are assessed continuously throughout the course through practical demonstrations and instructor observation and questioning.
Upon successful completion, learners will receive an Emergency First Aid at Work certificate valid for three years.
The Health and Safety Executive (HSE) recommends that qualified first aiders attend an annual refresher course to maintain their knowledge and confidence.
Individuals under the age of 16 cannot take responsibility for First Aid duties in the workplace, and employers must ensure that designated workplace first aiders are suitable for the role.
Certificates remain valid for 3 years from date shown on the certificate.
