The First Aid at Work (Level 3) course is designed for workplaces that require trained first aiders to meet UK Health & Safety regulations or Individuals wishing to extend their First Aid knowledge.
This three-day First Aid at Work training course prepares learners to confidently manage a wide range of medical emergencies, providing prompt, safe, and effective treatment until professional medical help arrives.

The First Aid at Work course requires a minimum of 18 hours of training, normally delivered over three days.
Ideally, the course is completed across three consecutive days, however Expert Response Training offers flexible scheduling to meet organisational needs.

The course places a strong emphasis on hands-on practical training, helping learners develop the confidence to respond effectively in real emergency situations.
Learners are assessed continuously throughout the course through practical demonstrations and instructor observation and questioning.
A written assessment is also completed as part of the training.
Upon successful completion, participants will receive a Level 3 Award in First Aid at Work, which is valid for three years.
Learners under the age of 16 cannot take responsibility for First Aid duties in the workplace. Employers must ensure that designated first aiders are suitable for their role.
Certificates remain valid for 3 years from date shown on the certificate.
